"Bracelet Stretch": Where is the Actual Wear? How's it Repaired?
Hi,
To those who know, where is the actual bracelet wear that causes the "stretch"? Is it in the holes of the links, or is it on the pins that hold the links together, or is it at both locations? I'm curious because I wonder how Michael Young repairs a "stretched bracelet." I understand that he fits different tubes over the pins to fill the worn gap inside the holes of each link. Is this essentially his process? If so, is it mechanically sound? If there's more to the process, can anyone expound? Thanks for insights and comments. Sent from my slingshot using Tapatalk |
