Not really a Rolex-question, but...
Maybe out of order, but here it goes;
As a Rolex user, I'm also fond of other brands both cheap and more expensive. A GMT-watch that I really enjoy with an ETA movement shows the following behaviour; Tuseday morning 7.00 am - fully wound (60 turns) and set. Tue 17.00 - Took it of Wed 03.50 - Put it on Wed 19.00 - Took it off Thur 07.00 - Put it on Thur 17.00 - Took it off Didn't wear it Friday, Friday at 21.00 - the watch stopped. I did a test with the watch fully wound and not moving it = 47h (about) Does this sound normal to you? This suggest that the wearing tue-thu didn't manage to wound it fully. Since I'm a pilot I don't move around a lot, but still I'm active between flights. My Rolex seems to hold up it's power reserve much better. I really don't know what ETA movement it is, but again it does have an GMT-hand. Thanks a lot and again sorry for the off topic question... |
