Tudor Aeronaut - an underrated classic ?
I was lucky enough to pick up a Tudor Aeronaut when on a foreign trip.
It has the plasic card as paperwork and was sold as a new watch by an AD. I spotted it in a glass case on the other side of the room whilst I was buying a Black Bay... and immediately asked "what the heck is that ??". Fell in love with it immediately. I've now realised the detailing on the hands and on the hour markers is the same as the Pelagos with a tiny raised white border around each. It is a GMT. It has three pushers with a twist-to-lock action : two either side of the crown which move the hour hand forward and backward an hour and one on the opposite side which sets the date. Here I have it on a black NATO. What does everyone think ?
