116610LN? 16610LV? Help?

Struggling....I have been doing so much reading over the past few weeks on the forum and elsewhere. I originally was set on a GMT II BLNR but the PCL's have been troubling me and I know you can get them brushed but that seems off to me a little.

The Submariner is such a classic, albeit somewhat "common" but as a younger man I can distinctly remember seeing the 16610LV for the first time and absolutely loved it. The green and black just look right with the brushed band. I have been eyeing one from DAVIDSW for the better part of a week now. But some of the features of the 116610LN seem awful appealing as well, the quick adjust band and the ceramic black seems classy yet subtle. Part of me worries the green would look too...garish? Showy? Stand out too much? But I do really dig those colors and it being anniversary and a fond memory seem to feel right for my first Rolex.

In the end I would prefer the GMT functionality, but my travel is really East and West coast so keeping track of time is not much of a chore, and the Sub with it's brushed links and rugged good looks somehow seems fitting for my first....

What a wonderful struggle to have.....any words of wisdom as I flail about...
