Question about dials

Hi all,

Is there a way to work out whether the dial on a pre-owned Rolex has been replaced simply by looking at the pictures of the face?

I am looking at this 16013 Datejust from 1987. It has no papers.

The dial seems too modern to me to be the original. I haven't been able to find any online resources which will help me to confirm one way or the other.

I'd like to know when this particular dial was introduced and/or more particularly whether or not any 16013 models in or around 1987 ever came with it installed initially.

The seller is slow to respond and may not know the answer anyway.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Ian
