New Certificate or not?

Is this site getting a new security certificate?

I just wrote out a lengthy post and I could not get my YouTube videos to show. I have an option of logging in via HTTP vs. HTTPS and can see the videos but how do I know I'm not being redirected to another site, like the duplicate in China via HTTP? How do I know that HTTPS isn't compromised?

I find this is irresponsible, especially with a site that is a market place for multi-thousand dollar watches.

I'm already a pledge member but would happily donate towards a new cert.

Can we please get the bottom line on this?

Thanks,

Tim
