I want my next watch to be a Panerai and I have been looking around. It seems like there are so many different Panerai out there.

Two features that I've been really attracted to are the california dial or a white dial Panerai.

I have a change to buy the PAM051, i like the white dial on it but the fact that its ETA movement seems to deter me away.

I'm also attracted to PAM 242 or 249 but the 47mm seems super big on my wrist.

I'm just curious, what was everyone's first Panerai? what did they like the most about it?
