Confussed As Hell

Ok guys, I have kind of decided that I want a two line 14060M. The reference chart that I picked up somewhere on line says that the watch in question (M) was produced in 2007. However, I find in my chart that the 4 line COSC dial was introduced in 2006 and beyond. What gives?

I have seen posts in different places where people are talking about their 2 liner 14060M's. Did Rolex make both 2 and 4 liners in the 14060M?

Thanks in advance!
