May I please have moderator feedback?
Hi!
I attempted to post in the Vintage forum following all rules and procedures. Moments later, I found I'd inadvertently violated a guideline. While the post was still in your moderation queue, I made an introductory post and reported myself to mod staff to ask for help with my mistake. A moderator very kindly edited out my gaff and allowed my post to go through. I saw it, didn't touch it, and got on a train to visit family, hoping to see some replies later. Within a few hours, it was moved out of the Vintage forum with a redirect that I didn't have access rights to follow. I appealed using the contact us form Friday evening, asking only that I be informed what mistake I've made - and I submitted no demands nor claimed any rights. I've received no reply. I tried to post very respectfully and within all guidelines I could find here at the time I'd posted (and honestly, it's not like they're all in one place ok). So - may I speak to a moderator about how to post to get the help I need? Or ought I consider myself unwelcome here and not worth a response? Your house, your rules - I just don't think I did anything to deserve a decision reversal without some help or word nor do I think that I deserve the silent treatment. If someone made a decision along the lines of - "He knows what he did!" - then I'm here to plea that, no, I don't. Thank you. :) |
