BLNR a cool watch for casual summer days in shorts?

What do you think?
I sometimes feel a little bit overdressed with it when I am wearing shorts and a t shirt / flip flops.
Is it just in my head?
I do love the PCLs and don't plan on brushing them off, but just feel a little dressy to wear it with shorts.

Also, out of curiosity. Is a steel bracelet what you guys usually wear in summer time? Or would you rather switch to rubber?

My GF says it is the perfect and chilled out watch for casual attire.
Maybe she wants me to buy her a watch too!
