Hi all. I am a delighted new Submariner (no date) owner, bought mine in April '08.

A quicky: mine loses between 3 and 4 seconds a day, laying it bezel up at night. My dealer says -4 to plus 6 is acceptable, but I've read that Rolex states that its tolerances are tighter, at -1 to plus 5.

I feel like I'm being pedantic, but is -3 to 4 secs acceptable (granted that's amazingly accurate for a little self-winding machine)?? Does anyone have a view??
