A bit disappointed..

My DJ II is only eight months old but it started losing about six minutes a day since the start of the week. Before that it used to run about + 1-2 secs a day.

I haven't done anything differently with the watch other than it sat in a safe for 3 weeks whilst I was on vacation. I use it on rotation with my BLNR using it during the week when I wear a suit and then the BLNR on evenings and weekends. I would give it a full wind when I put it back on at the start of the week and had no issues until now.

Anyway, I dropped it off at the local service centre last night and they are going to keep it for 3-4 days to test and observe it. I hope that this is a quick fix but I am resigned to losing it for several weeks.

I suppose I could look on the bright side as this may give my speedmaster the opportunity for some wrist time as it has hardly been out of the watch box the last 12 months.
