A Rolex is worth the price a used car, yet is a very small object and... A quite useless one (my phone tells time). For some of us it took lots of time, efforts and hard work to buy one, especially the first one. So it can be valued because of this. It can be some kind of financial achievement.

Others wonder if they should buy a YG or WG Daytona for their graduation... They might not put the same value into it...
