Oh boy. Got the call, incoming.
So the road so far. Have been an Omega collector for past ten years now.
I didn´t have any real passion about Rolex watches before, but few years ago I started to see them with different eyes and when I saw BLNR in the wild while in holiday in Cancun, I was sold. I came from humble lower middle class family and had to study and work my way up (with great parents and their mental support - which I am truly grateful) and 20 years ago I couldn´t believe that I could never ever afford a luxury watch. My 45th birthday was just few weeks ago and this watch was a birthday present for my self and a reminder for all the hard work I had to do when I was younger. My Omegas are important mile stones for me but this one has already a really special meaning for me. I ordered the BLNR for 3,5 months ago (if anyone is wondering about backorder time) form my AD and got a nice discount also. So now I have to wait few hours and then it´s time to go and pay the watch and have the bracelet resized and be a happy member of the Rolex family. Photos will come soon after. |
