I have about 10 watches now and I love them all. If I don't love them I flip them. Not always for something more expensive, just something better for me.

I can see me one day flipping a lot of them towards a DD40.

I think about this as well but for one portion of my collection. I have a few different Rolex, all sports models, and I realized they are largely redundant for me. So I'm selling most of them and will be picking up a DD40 instead. This way I'll have a DD40 and my SS Daytona which will more than cover my Rolex requirements. That being said, I really enjoy having different brands I respect in my rotation and don't think I would trade out my APs or other pieces towards one all mighty grail, I like some variety.

DD40 also on the cards for me.
