Well, there is good Thread on the Rolex Watch section, about removing the Cyclops on the Explorer II.

So got me thinking, how about removing the inverted cyclops on the Panerai contempory models? Anyone do this or know of anyone doing this?

Seems you could have a compotent watchmaker remove the crystal and do for you?

That is the one sore spot I have with Panerais, is the cyclops, in that there is always that little reflective speck on the cyclops.

One thing I like about my 233 is no cyclops.
