Friend's uncle inherited a bed

Hi guys. My friend's uncle recently inherited a bed and found this Rolex underneath it, and gave it to my friend as a gift. Any idea if its real, and what it's worth? My friend isn't trying to sell it, he wants to put it under his bed, or maybe give it to someone, especially if its worth a lot.
