Birth year 5513 back from service

Got my 5513 back from service with Phillip Ridley. Watch had a gritty / metallic feeling when I would hand wind it. Just needed a new reversing wheel and didn't require a full service.

I decided while it was out for service to bring it back to as close as original as possible: period correct crown and stem, crystal, and a new pip (original was long gone). I was very hesitant to go with some of the suggested services: stabilizing the hands and a light polish. I don't notice any color change to the hands at all. As to the polish: to be honest with you all, the decision made me sick to my stomach, but since the watch was previously polished incorrectly, I decided to go for it. Still has plenty of character for a 43 year old watch.

Overall I'm very happy with the service.
