So, I have the new tudor BB Bronze and was reading up on how to Patina a piece without waiting. I did an experiment last night with my new Montegrappa copper pen.. I just boiled an egg, then put it in a bag with my pen.... crushed the egg and left overnight. The effect was pretty cool.... So, do I do my Bronze Tudor next or let the natural process do the job. Is this cheating or is it ok?
From what I read, it can be reversed with a simple cleaning,however with the brushed finish on the watch, it might not be so easy.....so here are pics of the easy project with the pen..... first pick is when new as received ...
