Inheriting my first Rolex

Hello everyone! I have been a roamer on the boards for a while and decided the time has come for my first post!

This 1803 day-date was purchased by my grandfather in Orlando, FL in 1967 (1.9 mil serial #). Still trying to hunt down a couple of pics of him wearing it from when my dad was a kid. Anyways....with my dad not being a huge watch wearer, it has been in the safe for the past 10 years.

I was extremely surprised and blessed to receive this as a graduation gift from college last month. I know my grandfather is smiling down knowing that this will see many more decades of use!

I couldn't be happier! A before and after picture of the service as well.

Thanks for the look!

-Kyle
