Not sure why the DD get the image of being an older-gent's watch but I guess it has to do with affordability. I have also seen many young people in their 30s wearing it. It's also very versatile and look just as good with a collared T-shirt and casual wear for weekends. As for reliability, the DD40 has a new improved movement and I don't think any other watch brands can challenge Rolex on sheer robustness and reliability.
I personally love my DD40 and I think YG and Platinum are the best choices. In the end, a matter of personal preference. ![]()
