Self Introduction

This is my first time to post in this forum. The reason is that I just bought my first Rolex last weekend, a GMT Master II, 116710LN.

In the past, the look of Rolex watches did not strike my fancy (although sea-dwellers and submariners are growing on me). When the new Rolex Prince was released a few years ago, I liked its elegant design. It took a long time for the new Prince to reach the stores and when I finally tried it on, I did not like it, much to my disappointment.

In 2005, the new GMT Master II with the ceramic bezel was released, I loved that watch, but the gold version was a bit too expensive. When the SS version came out last year, I knew that it would be my first Rolex. Last weekend, I finally pull the trigger. The fact that I bought it four days after the price increase did not dampen my spirit. I am wearing it all week and it is off by only 2 seconds. That’s absolutely amazing to me.

My collection: Breguet with small second hand, Zenith Chronomaster T Open, Credor Node Spring Drive Moon Phase, Rolex GMT Master II, Shellman grand complication (quartz, unfortunately), Omega Constellation from 70s (gold, manual wind)
