HELP - Panerai PAM 235 (white gold) vs. 497 (yellow gold)

Ok, so I'm going to buy one of these today....

assume the 497 is slightly more expensive.

Do I go the yellow gold and a bit more formal (is the dial too crowded, but it looks so nice!) or the white gold and a bit more simple...?

I keep going back and forth.

I can wear the 235 a bit more daily without it attracting too much attention (most won't know its gold) , but will I regret not sacking up and getting the yellow gold that will look incredible with a suit at events...

Any advice? Anyone make this type of decision and have regrets?
