AD Visit today and stainless Daytona info

Stopped by the local AD today to look at watches. The sales associate was very nice and brought out a Daytona C with a white face to try on. He said there are more than 30 people on the list for the new model. He also said the stainless Daytona that i was wearing and the new Daytona C stainless models have a slightly smaller case near the lugs on the right side than the left side to balance the crown and buttons. He said this only applies to the stainless models. After looking at my watch it does look slightly smaller on the right side. I have never heard this before. Can anyone confirm this?
