DEEPSEA vs. GMT Master II C -Dial Diameter

Measuring the actual usable dial inside the rehaut ring on the new DEEPSEA against the actual dial inside the ROLEXROLEXROLEX ring on the GMT Master II Ceramic, does anyone know the actual measurement (circumference) of these two dials?

In looking at the pictures below, it appears to me that you get no increase in dial, hands, or lume on the new DEEPSEA despite it being a far thicker and bigger watch.

Also, since there are no curved lugs on the DEEPSEA, and the watch lugs sit higher than the caseback, it appears that the watch rides high on the wrist leaving a gap between the wrist and the bracelet that can't be fixed for anyone with less than a 7.75 inch wrist (guessing here). Anyone know if that's correct?
