Should I buy a rolex out of country?

Hey everyone. I'm going to Las Vegas in a few weeks, and I know there is a Rolex dealer there that takes old Rolex watches back for trade in value towards a new one. Last time I was there i was quoted just over $4000 for my TT Date to go towards a Yatch-Master. I'm was planning on buying a Yatch-master in the near future anyways, can any of you think of a reason why I should NOT buy the watch in vegas, and just buy it at a local authorized dealer in Canada? The watch is already cheaper in the US, plus with the trade in value I would end up saving a lot of money. I'm just worried I might have a problem having it served in the future if the country code is from the US. Anybody have any thoughts on this, or some advise?
