It's arrived (UK BLNR content)
As everyone is probably aware on here, finding a BLNR in the U.K. is somewhat difficult. It's not a model that you can walk in and just buy.
So I've had my name down on a couple of lists for a while and knew that my local AD was the best chance of sourcing one as they have just opened a new store and seem to be getting a steady supply of watches through. Anyway as of last week I was number 5 on the list and I knew that my AD was getting about 1 BLNR a month, so I was quite surprised when my phone rang today and the AD asked me if I was still interested in the watch. Ermm yes!!! Next question "how quickly can you get over to the store?". Ermm right now?!? So that was that. I went in and was presented with the watch. This is my first ever Rolex and I have to say that it's just stunning. It's so comfortable to wear and looks absolutely perfect on my wrist. It's not too big and not too small either...oh and that blue part of the bezel just pops and shimmers. I love it!! Removing the stickers was also fun but how many are there!! I thought I'd finished peeling only to find more of them. Still it was fun "unwrapping" it. Anyway I'm now an official Rolex owner and a very happy one at that. Photos to follow! |
