Second gold Rolex in a month.... what retirement funds?

Ok ive never really looked at a yachtmaster twice as they have never really caught my attention, i didnt "dislike" them but they never really grabbed me.

Killing some time yesterday before a meeting i wandered into one of my local grey dealers and this thing just jumped out at me.
Honestly looking at pics of them doesnt even come close to the real life look of them. I alway thought the bezel was boring and quite plain but in real life the contrast of the polished numbers to the matte finish of the bezel it just pops, the polished PCL's and lugs make this thing shine beautifully and to top it off the dial is gorgeous........ its a 2003 full set with all the original paperwork, service book and calender.
As much as i love my Daydate this is more a standout piece as far as beauty goes. The DD is a great formal wear watch and a very understated full gold watch.... this thing screams "im a gold Rolex" lol! Yes i know that sounds pretentious but its nice to have a piece that looks as good as it costs. Unlike wearing my AP which is so understated that people cannot believe its cost.

Im not a attention seeker that likes to show off but i do like looking at my wrist and seeing a beautiful watch that makes me smile from its beauty and ive had watches ive paid big $$ for and when i look at them after a period of time make me wonder why i did.
Who knows i am a serial flipper so cant really say i have any credibility on my purchases but like a car unless you drive it you wont know if you like it... im working my way through till i find the "one"
I still wear my SD daily and love it so it will always be a keeper
i give you my 16628
