I don't..( tho I only have 2 that are mechanical..).. - Don't spend the money if you don't need to.. Just have him wear and enjoy the watch..!! If the winder is just for gift sake purposes.., then as Vanessa mentions, there are a lot of posts about winders..! Good luck
