Icon7 Back from Beijing... (and a bit of "Alaskan Happines"!!!)

Hello my friends!

I hope that you are all doing great and that you all
had a very nice summer!

Now that my every-day-life has me back, I'll do a few
follow-up posts on everything that happened this summer...
as it is mostly watch (and Omega) related!

First of all: I'm back from Beijing!
No words can possibly describe the wonderful time we
had there. And definitely there are no words to describe
the hospitality and the amazing time that Omega offered
us!

A separate (and most probably long ) post will follow soon
about the trip to Beijing, the wonderful Olympic Games and
everything that we enjoyed during our stay in this great
city!

But as a quick teaser, here are just a few pictures...

(The Omega Pavilion within the Olympic Green)

And a little bit of one of the most breathtaking things I've
ever seen in my entire life... The Great Wall of China:

And... ahem... well... it is still me, right?

As I wrote above, a separate post detailing the wonderful
time we had in and around Beijing will follow soon. But I have
to express a first, heartfelt (and overdue) thank you to Omega
for making it all possible!
We will never forget it all!

And also a big thank you to the people of Beijing, for showing
us their kindest & warmest spirit during their Olympic Games!

---------

And speaking of Omega... well... the wait is finally over!! Still
in Beijing I received news of a big "white & red surprise" that was
waiting for me in the Omega Boutique in Athens...!

So I can now say that I have Alaska on my wrist!!!!

I am also preparing a write-up on the Alaska Project's historic
details (coupled with a review of my example) and I shall post
it here as soon as I have it ready!

But I can already tell you (shouting it out actually...), that
I'm extremely happy to have had the opportunity to get it!!!
The wait was all worth it!!! It is an amazing offering!!!
Here are a few teaser-pix as well:

Oh... and again... so we don't forget who's posting here... :

I do have a lot to write about this marvelous watch... follow-up
post will be ready soon...

So that's all for now (as I - also - need to get back to work)!

Glad to be back here...

All the best to you all

Petros
