Need help in identification of this seiko.......Yes, Its upside down, Sorry. Approximate Value?


I am looking at this watch......its a Tissot Seastar 1000. I am hoping someone here can identify weather it is a real or imposter. This watch would be purchased at a local auction house with no certificate or paperwork (watch only). From what I can tell, the hour and minute hands are different from the ones that I have been able to find which leads me to believe its a Replica. I dont know a thing about this brand of watch so I am at a total loss. The back of the watch has a solid case,( most of the ones Ive seen are glass back) and has writing such as "Seamaster", 660, saphire crystal, etc...
I think the watch itself is quite impressive looking but I certainly wouldnt buy it for that reason. I would greatly appreciate anyones input here other than the fact that I should not buy it from a auction house, ( I know that part...).
Any info. on the watch itself would be greatly appreciated. If you need some more info on the watch let me know and ill do what I can to provide...
