My Datejust isn't winding properly

Hi Techs :)

I have a 1977 Datejust. When I sleep with the watch on my wrist it stops working by the morning , that's when I first noticed a problem. The other problem is I cannot manually wind it. When crown is in the first position it doesn't move clockwise.
The other issue I noticed is that the date setup is counter clockwise instead of clockwise (on my submariner)

Any ideas ?
I wanna send it back to the dealer but I wanna have a proper knowledge before he tells me "you're using it wrong"

I'm not new to rolexes I have a submariner, and an explorer 2, none which have this issue.

The datejust is a new acquisition.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts I would appreciate it.
