Crocodile or alligator strap for Daytona 116518

I have a yg Daytona 116518 on its original black crocodile strap with deployant buckle, and the strap is deteriorating. I bought it pre-owned. I'm having trouble getting a straight answer from RSC on replacement of this strap. The strap I have is flat, but I'd like a padded strap. RSC tells me the only thing available is flat, at a cost of $672 plus tax (!). Yet I've seen black padded straps on recent vintage Everose Daytonas. Is a black padded strap (either croc or alligator) available for the 116518 (vintage approx. 2013)? I'd prefer OEM to keep the watch as original as possible, but would be ok with a high-quality third-party strap. Thanks.
