To gain value it would need to surpass the new SD43 in demand, I just don't see it happening. I have seen far too many SD4Ks sitting at ADs and while I personally like the outgoing Seadweller I see it dropping in price and demand. I do not think it will for example surpass the LV's pricing in 10 years.

I would say that's not true as supply is fixed for the 116600 and in all likelihood will be much lower than that of the SD43 barring any unexpected moves by Rolex.
