Report on GMTIIc after 5 days - SCORE OUT OF 10?

I was a little nervous and apprehensive about my new 116710 for first few days, but now it just feels "right". It's one of those watches that are a reflection of your own personality if you know what I mean. I’m loving it more and more every day.

For those who are considering getting one, I wanted to share some additional info… most of these comments have been made by others, but I figured a re-cap would be handy. Not a full review, just some succinct observatons...
  • The crown on the winder lines up perfectly vertical I guess I was lucky?
  • Date changes at approx 1 min past midnight
  • Have been banging around for 5 days now, and light scratches on clasp are nowhere near as bad as I expected from other posts.
  • Polished centre links are definitely NOT too blingy
  • The RolexRolexRolex on the rehaut is hardly noticeable in normal light, indoors etc (I think AD showrooms have much brighter, halogen lights, so everything sparkles more, but also exagerates the rehaut writing)
  • The lume is not as strong as I was expecting (not even close to a 15 year old Seiko divers I have) and it doesn't last as long, although if I give it a good "charge" before going to bed, I may be able to still make out time about 5 hours later...
  • The shiny-ness of the bezel was a little more than I was initially expecting, but it has either "settled" down, or I have got used to it and it looks "normal" to me now. Either way, I am more than happy with the trade-off, ie. that the form (shiny-ness) is due the the function (ceramic = durability), not just bling for the sake of it. So let say one each for this so these cancel each other out
  • Comfort? It's my first Rolex, so can't really compare, but it's a bit heavier and bigger than I am used to, but that only lasted 1 day. Now it's perfect
  • Appearance. It looks fantastic, but still subtle. Non-WIS's don't even notice (I was very self-concious at first) - dangerous when driving though... with my hand on steering wheel the watch is directly in my line of site, so my eyes keep drifting off the road and onto the watch!
  • Does it sing to me...??? YES
Total score out of 10...

= 9

= 1

PS. oops, haven't even thought of checking accuracy yet, but maybe that should wait until after the "break-in" period...

PPS. I had better include a pic...
