Thank you all gentleman...here's a few more shots of the Tudor S&G.

It's a substantial watch and actually wears quite similar to my 216570 Explorer II. The thick caseback takes a little getting used to and it will not disappear on wrist like, say, the Heritage Ranger on the camo NATO.

Some seem to be put off by the fact that the centre links are not solid gold, but as you can see from one of the photos the gold capping is quite thick so I doubt it will wear off easily...if at all. And I'll bet if they were solid gold links the price would have been substantially higher.

Over the past few days accuracy has been very good, gained an average of 0.5sec/day so I'm a happy camper
