Untitled - Long Winded

I don't hang out in this section a whole lot these days. I tend to hang out in the open discussion where instead of talking about safety and size of watches, we tend to talk about cars, fraternities, dinners and the appropriate place for dog droppings.

I admit, my zest for watches has waned significantly, and I have actually been wearing a Fitbit as my time keeper for nearly a month. I think I just bored myself with all the flipping back and forth.

I have also admitted in the past that I don't necessarily appreciate all of the Rolex marketing tactics. But also that I can't help but appreciate the great watches.

And besides, the more I think about it, I actually can't help but respect the company. I suppose it is kind of hard not to. I would just like to see them take better care of their AD's and even their customers. But whatever, I am not going to rehash this tired old argument.

Now that the long winded justification part is over....

I am posting this for two reasons.

1. I just picked up a really incredible watch. And I mean incredible.
2. I just love Lee Perla in Hackensack, NJ and I wanted to give them their proper shout out. They are an amazing AD that has incredible customer service.

I personally work with Rick and he it tops. Super knowledgeable, loves watches as well, is a total WIS and just the quintessential professional. But their whole team is really very good. And they are run by the very involved owner, the fabulous Joanne.

OK, so now that this part is out of the way, I did elude in the past that this was really the only Rolex watch I was interested in. It came in, I got the call, and it was a no-brainer. The size is perfect for me and it fits super. Its also perfect for casual or dressy.

Even the people in my office have kind of flipped for it. I have literally caught the same people looking at it multiple times over the last few days. And they keep commenting over and over. Its kind of nice because they have seen me lose interest over the last few months.

Anyway, I will post a pic shortly.
