Confirm my thoughts

My wife's 168622 35mm Yachtmaster seems to be failing. I'm sending it in, but want to confirm my thoughts.

It sets time and date fine. If you wind it, it'll run for a very short time (1-5 seconds). I'm assuming that means the mainspring clutch has broken off the barrel assembly or am I missing something. Basically it unwinds as quick as it winds. She keeps it on a winder (which I don't like, but oh well).

BTW, never been dropped or anything unusual. Just lots of scratches as my wife likes to wear it.

Appreciate your thoughts on what could be the issue. More curiosity than anything.
