Bracelet and SEL reference numbers
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at a Y series DJ that I am interested in purchasing. The one thing that erks me is that the bracelet does not seem to match the watchhead eventhough the bracelet looks great with the watchhead. It is an oyster bracelet but the reference number on it, I believe, is 78360 and the SEL is 550B. I thought those reference numbers are for the sport line models like the Explorer or GMT. So are these the proper numbers for a DJ or is this a frankenbracelet? Is there a website that has reference numbers for Rolex bracelets and SELs? Would you buy something like this or pass? The reason I like this particular DJ is for the unique dial color. So, if this is a frankenbracelet, that would make me question the dial. I know there are many, many variations in DJ dials available. But, if one this is in question, maybe I should question the rest of the timepiece. I would appreciate any opinions and help with this. Thanks |
