Pleasantly surprised

To preface this, I have mainly been just a Rolex guy and wasn’t all that interested in Panerai. The previous models I had seen seemed too big and I really hadn’t ever tried one on. I recently went into a boutique looking to purchase a screwdriver for my dj 2 and dj 36mm. The lady was nice and took my phone number down, but invited me to try one on. I told her about the size issue and she came out with their slimmer case. I tried one on and wow! The slim case seems so much better than the ones I had seen. The color combination of the one she showed was immaculate. The blue strap fits perfectly with the rose gold case and grey dial. This watch completely blew me out of the water. I hadn’t ventured seriously into other brands, but in my opinion this was one of the nicest looking watches i’d seen. Didn’t pull the trigger sadly, but this watch is definitely on my list now!
