Share your choice of drink (bourbon, scotch, irish, japanese, rye etc.) and maybe a description of how it tastes to you. Enable someone to go out and try it too!

I'll start.

My go to is Lagavulin 16, single malt scotch. The peaty aroma got me at first whiff. I remember thinking this smelt like smoked salmon! It's subtly sweet and slightly spicy. Perfect pre or post meal. Very different to other scotch whiskies. Price-wise, a 750ml bottle can be picked up for about $50-$70 at your local Costco. Not something that will break the bank for sure; try it if you haven't!

Back in 2001 I bought a bottle of this to mark the end of 2000. its been laying in a wine rack ever since.... errrrm I don't drink whiskey mores the point what the heck do I do with it?
