Damage to Submariner ceramic bezel - fixable?
Hi guys,
I've picked up a mark on the ceramic bezel of my Sub - the white/silver mark circled on the attached photo. Strangely it doesn't actually feel like a scratch (nail doesn't catch on it) and I was also under the impression that the ceramic was a uniform colour all the way through, so any dings shouldn't be silver unlike if it was a coating over the stainless. I've cleaning this off but it isn't budging - can anybody recommend something I could try polishing with which won't change the surface appearance relative to the rest of the bezel? I know watches will always pick up dings and scratches, which I usually don't mind, but I can't stop looking at this with it being a light coloured mark on a black surface. Cheers. |
