The 2006 Grand Vin Chateau Latour was drinking exceptionally well when I was at the Chateau last month, as well as the 2012 Les Forts de Latour. The Pauillac de Latour is a favorite of my inbetweens when I want wine but don't want to open first wines, its a great value.

Fun Fact: Did you know Chateau Latour makes a 4th wine? Dubbed "the wine of the worker", and given to the team at Chateau Latour, their allowance is up to 18 bottles a month. It is not for sale nor marked with any markings of Chateau Latour, I attempted to persuade a worker to let me buy a bottle, but was unsuccessful in finding someone with a bottle on hand, although I did see the bottle in the packing room.
