Why BLNR and not Batman

I have a question for you guys and girls.

I am lucky enough to own a BLNR and whenever it is noticed by someone who knows a thing or two about watches (but not to the level of being on a enthusiast forum) they say, oh that's awesome "the Batman, where did you get it?" etc. etc.

My question is, why is the name "Batman" universally disliked on this forum?

We are allowed "Hulk", "Kermit", "Smurf", "Fat Lady", "Pepsi", "Coke" etc., but the moment "Batman" is mentioned... Everyone moans.

Why is this... To me Batman seems to match the colour of the watch pretty well AND having anything remotely related to Batman has got to be a good thing right?

Popcorn at the ready.
Full body armour in place!
