Since I first got into watches my grail was always a 15202ST. I turn 40 this year and have been back in forth on what to do and am able to go the step up from Rolex this year. I (thought about a aquanaut and 15400 blue) finally settled on getting a royal Oak Chrono in Blue as: 1. It's something I can actually get without paying a premium and 2. I find my tastes have changed to liking a little more going on on the dial. Super excited and will have to wait a few months until after the summer factory shut down.

Thought I'd throw it out there that after speaking to many different boutiques, that the Miami Westin boutique (not the bal harbor) mentioned they'd be getting a 15400 in ruthenium/anthracite (grey, whatever you want to call it) royal oak soon and it seemed to be unspoken for. Just FYI if a TRFer wants to make a call to see if it's still available. These seem to be getting hard to find.

Excited to become a member of the AP club this year!!!
