(Another) Huge Thank you to Trace!

A big shout out to a tremendous individual, Trace (RolexkingofLV). As many of you know, I collect pre-WWII clocks manufactured by a company called Telechron. Trace texted me a couple months ago and asked for my shipping address, said he had a “book” I would be interested in. There was some comedy in this whole shipping incident as his secretary accidentally sent me a brand new computer, (I should have kept my mouth shut ) but finally, the correct package arrived. It was a 1933 Telechron industrial clock that Trace came across, had sat in a factory for years. It was such an incredibly nice gift.

It had been repainted, and was quite dirty, but otherwise in generally good condition. Nonetheless, I sent it to an expert on Telechron restoration, he has done all of my clocks and is phenominal if anyone ever is interested. He refinished it, painted it back to the original color, cleaned it up and oiled the movement. Today I received it and couldn’t be more pleased. . It is the one hanging up on the wall, above my 1927 Sessions clock and my 1930 Grebe radio; looks awsome in my home office.
