what do you guys think about the value of the 5740 after 1-2 years, after the initial supply "shortage" and newness factor are gone? It will sell at a slight premium initially over MSRP, but I am concerned that its price may behave like that of 5370 (hyped a lot in the beginning, but very easy to get at discount now).

or could it behave like rolex 116500, going up and up despite not being "new" now. i tend not to believe this scenario since they are at 10X price points.
