Even knowing me, I can't believe this happened this fast, in this manner.

Its funny how things come together. As recently as two weeks ago I mentioned to Chadri that I was interested in the 5726 to put it on rubber and be done with the madness.

I looked at a few used examples that were over MSRP here on the forum boards.

Then I decided it was just too damned expensive. I also scratched the fu^k out of a Nautilus bezel years ago, and I had fear of maybe doing it again.

Then yesterday I saw a Patek on a customer and I was mesmerized. I even posted about it. Said I was going to take my time. Look into it.

I called my local PP dealer. They were closed. I traded a few emails with Tyler and went about my day.

I called again this morning. I've dealt with these guys before. They remembered me, and that I was local. I was told there was a list, but no one was local. He asked if I was planning to sell it. I confirmed that I had no intentions of doing so. He asked how serious I was. I said I was very serious.

I was put on hold. Upon his return, I was told that if I got there in an hour, it would be mine. I texted Chadri and he responded "go!!!!!". I PM'd Tyler and asked if this is normal, or if I just to lucky. He responded "lucky, it's meant to be...run".

I did not want to lose the opportunity. I knew I wanted something I could swin with. I knew I wanted something with lume. I wanted a day/date. And I love the moon phase technology.

I ran. They sold rubberB there, so I was in luck. I wanted the black strap, but they did not have. I saw the blue and fell in love. I will put it on black eventually, but I am loving this right now. It feels amazing on the wrist. I am super happy with this watch. All around what an amazing experience this is for me.
