Unexpected Incoming SS!

I cannot quite believe it myself, we only just called our local AD a mere 7 days ago and here it is today! We really did not expect this until sometime next year. Today is a special day because it is also my Birthday, I could not have wished for a better surprise. Imagine 'getting the call' out of the blue on ones Birthday! My name and Birthday on the card. A keeper forever.

Had a nice chat with the AD, he confirmed the things I have read here - there is no shortage of supply, Rolex are making more watches than before but due to emerging markets the watches are being spread between more and more retailers so while it may appear there is a shortage of watches at each AD, the actual numbers coming and going are the same. Take what you will from that.. I'm just delighted to get this stunning SS watch within a week of asking today of all days and just before Christmas!

They kept the warranty card which was no surprise, but I do have a copy. They wanted to peel the stickers off but were happy to allow me to do it after I explained that I would like to do it myself as that was part of getting a new watch for me (I was able to take the stickers off in front of them).
