Tudor Submariner 76100 “lollipop” restored
This watch fell in my lap locally, it was the ideal candidate for a restore/watch to wear. My current budget wouldn’t allow for much more, the irony is a Tudor Sub was on my short list of watches to buy. I would have never expected to find one in Beaumont TX.
The dial was missing most of the lume, the hands were refurbished w/Luminova pretty poorly and the insert looked incorrect. I sent it off to Kent Parks w/Everestwatchworks.com for a vintage style relume on the hands and dial, non glowing. I worked out a trade for an original dial that fell through so I stuck with my original plan and I am more than happy with the results. I sourced the correct 80’s insert with tritium pearl from a forum member. I will eventually buy a bracelet for it. I really appreciate the help from the guys that assisted with this project.
